Group Therapy Neighbourhood Takeover

1. Promotion

The Rubens' Local Neighbourhood Takeover ("Promotion") gives fans across Australia the opportunity to bring a free The Rubens live show to their local area.

The Australian LGA with the most Group Therapy pre-orders wins a free Rubens pop-up show.

1A. Secondary Prize

In addition to the pop-up show, one winner will be randomly drawn from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period to receive a Group Therapy Limited Edition Merch Pack.

The merch pack includes a signed Group Therapy walkman, cassette, hoodie, t-shirt, cap, socks and journal.

Every valid entry (one per pre-order) is eligible for the secondary prize draw, regardless of which LGA it is attributed to or whether that LGA wins the pop-up show.

The secondary prize winner will be drawn and notified after the Promotion closes, at the same time as the winning LGA is announced.

2. Promotion Period

The Promotion closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 22 October 2026.

The winning LGA will be announced on 28 October 2026.

The Rubens may provide leaderboard updates throughout the Promotion showing the LGAs currently recording the highest number of eligible pre-orders. Leaderboard positions are indicative only and remain subject to final verification.

3. How to Participate

Fans can support their LGA by making an eligible pre-order of The Rubens' album Group Therapy through an official participating store or offer, including buying the digital album directly through this page.

Eligible purchases include:

• Pre-orders of eligible physical formats of Group Therapy, including vinyl, CD and cassette where available;
• Eligible digital album pre-orders, including digital purchases made directly through this page;
• Eligible ticket and album bundles, including VIP ticket bundles that include a digital or vinyl copy of Group Therapy; and
• Existing eligible Group Therapy pre-orders made prior to the commencement of the Promotion.

Each eligible album unit purchased will count as one pre-order towards the relevant LGA's total, unless otherwise stated on the relevant product or bundle.

Cancelled, refunded, fraudulent or otherwise invalid orders will not count towards an LGA's total.

4. LGA Allocation

Eligible pre-orders will be attributed to the Local Government Area (LGA) associated with the purchaser's nominated postcode.

Where a location does not fall within a recognised LGA, or where a postcode crosses LGA boundaries, the Promoter may allocate the purchase to the most appropriate LGA or equivalent geographic area based on the information provided.

The Promoter's determination of geographic allocation will be final for the purposes of the Promotion.

5. Leaderboard

The Rubens may publish and update a leaderboard throughout the Promotion showing participating LGAs and their eligible pre-order totals or relative rankings.

Leaderboard information may not be updated in real time and may be subject to delays in receiving, processing or verifying order data.

The leaderboard is an indication of current standings only. Final results will be determined following verification of all eligible orders after the Promotion closes.

6. Winning LGA

Subject to these Terms & Conditions, the Australian LGA with the highest verified number of qualifying pre-orders at 11:59pm AEDT on 22 October 2026 will be declared the winning LGA.

In the event of a tie, the winning LGA will be the LGA that first reached the final tied number of verified eligible pre-orders.

The winning LGA will be announced on 28 October 2026 via The Rubens' official channels.

7. The Local Neighbourhood Takeover Show

The prize is a free pop-up live performance by The Rubens within, or as reasonably close as practicable to, the winning LGA.

The performance will take place at a date determined by The Rubens and the Promoter, subject to the band's touring and performance availability, venue availability and logistical requirements.

The Promoter will use reasonable endeavours to stage the performance within the winning LGA. The performance will be delivered no later than 31 December 2027.

Fans may suggest a specific venue or location for the show when submitting their entry. These suggestions will be considered but are not binding, and the Promoter retains final discretion over the venue.

The Rubens and their team will work with the local community and suitable local venues to identify an appropriate location for the performance.

The final date, venue, capacity, format and production arrangements will be determined by the Promoter having regard to artist availability, venue availability, safety, licensing, accessibility and production requirements.

The Promoter will also seek to engage a suitable local artist or band from the winning LGA or surrounding area to support The Rubens at the show.

The show will be free to attend. Due to venue capacity, safety and operational requirements, attendance may require advance registration or free ticketing. Participation in the Promotion does not guarantee admission to the performance.

The prize is awarded to the winning LGA/community as a whole and not to an individual purchaser.

8. Venue and Event Requirements

The performance is subject to the availability of a suitable venue and the ability to safely and lawfully stage the event.

The Promoter may consider venue capacity, accessibility, licensing, production requirements, security, local regulations, weather, artist scheduling and public safety when determining the final event arrangements.

If a suitable venue cannot reasonably be secured within the boundaries of the winning LGA, the Promoter may stage the performance at the nearest suitable location to the winning LGA.

9. Eligibility and Verification

Only genuine purchases of eligible Group Therapy products or bundles will count towards the Promotion.

Entries are not verified individually at the time of submission. Instead, the Promoter will cross-check submitted entries against store and ticketing order records on a periodic basis.

The Promoter reserves the right to exclude orders or activity that it reasonably considers fraudulent, manipulated, subsequently cancelled or refunded, or otherwise inconsistent with the spirit of the Promotion.

The Promoter's decision regarding eligibility, LGA allocation and final results is final, subject to applicable law.

10. Changes, Rescheduling or Cancellation

If circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter prevent the performance from proceeding as planned, including artist illness or unavailability, venue unavailability, extreme weather, government restrictions, safety concerns or other circumstances beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may reschedule, relocate or modify the event.

Any rescheduled performance remains subject to band and venue availability and the requirement that the Local Neighbourhood Takeover show be delivered by 31 December 2027, unless circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter make this impossible.

11. Publicity and Privacy

By participating in the Promotion, participants acknowledge that the name of their LGA, suburb or town may be used in connection with the leaderboard, Promotion and announcement of the winning location.

Personal information collected in connection with purchases or the Promotion will be handled in accordance with the applicable privacy policy and will not be publicly displayed as part of the leaderboard.

12. General

Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

The Promoter reserves the right to verify purchases, correct errors in leaderboard data and make reasonable decisions necessary for the fair administration of the Promotion.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
